An Open House for our online programs will be held Wednesday May 16 ay 8PM CDT. It is free and open to the public. For more information on how to attend the open house, see http://www.lim.loyno.edu/online-events. Fr. Stephen Sauer, SJ, liturgy scholar and pastor of the Jesuit Church of the Immaculate Conception in New Orleans, recently spoke on "The Roman Missal: A Look at the New Translation." The video of that is available at http://lim.loyno.edu/webinars.
Today, a new generation of lay people is working hard to assume the challenge of pastoral ministry and church leadership in order to serve the People of God more effectively. Others labor to make a difference in a wide variety of secular and civic contexts as "ministers in the marketplace." Still others are pursuing ongoing education as religious women and men, deacons and priests. The Loyola Institute for Ministry (LIM) meets the intellectual, spiritual, pastoral, and human formation needs of all these different ministers in the church and world. What better place to pursue your studies than in the religiously, culturally, and historically rich setting of New Orleans!
There are two ways to participate in LIM programming, whether on campus, on site (extension or LIMEX), or online:
Welcome to the Loyola Institute for Ministry. We hope you consider joining the thousands of graduates around the country and around the world in this transformative educational opportunity.
