Graduate Education in Your Location
Loyola University New Orleans, through its Institute for Ministry, has offered master's degrees and certificates in pastoral studies and religious education in their entirety in locations in the United States and around the world since 1983. Through partnerships with local sponsoring agencies (dioceses, parishes, retreat centers, or other institutions), we bring educational opportunities to you. By becoming a LIM student, you join a network of other adult learners and graduates from around the United States and internationally from Canada, Belize, Scotland, England, Switzerland, and Nigeria.
The Loyola Institute for Ministry Extension Program is practical and affordable. You join with your fellow students where you live to form intentional learning communities and undertake a sophisticated inquiry into the Christian tradition, while maintaining a disciplined conversation with your personal and professional experience. With Ignatian spirituality woven throughout, you learn to read the signs of the times and respond to them faithfully and effectively.

Earn undergraduate credit while pusuing your LIM certificate
Loyola continuing education (ceu) certificate students, in addition to earning a graduate-level Certificate in Pastoral Studies or Religious Education, have the opportunity of earning undergraduate credits through Regis University while completing their certificate coursework with Loyola.
